Don't Let Lead Hurt You ... or the ones you love!

If you occupy an older building, built before 1978, there is cause for concern.  It may contain lead-based paint.  In fact, the older the home, the more likely it is to have lead-based paint hazards. Lead-based paint produced before 1960 contains higher concentrations of lead than paint manufactured in later years.

Lead paint isn't always dangerous. If it's under layers of newer, non-lead paint, you may not have a problem. Only when lead paint is disturbed - by rubbing, bumping, water damage, or during renovation - does it release tiny particles of lead dust that can harm you.

We are NOT a state certified laboratory.  As an Independent laboratory -- adhering to the strict methodology, quality requirements, and  demanding standards of the United States Environmental Protection Agency [EPA] --   we can provide factual answers to critical questions about your water.  

Our sensitive instrumentation can measure a contaminant in:

parts per million [ppm]         for example: one penny [$.01] per $10,000

    parts per billion [ppb]         for example:  one penny [$.01] per $10,000,000

By performing analysis of drinking water we can identify contaminants and determine compliance with the regulatory criteria established by the EPA's National Primary and Secondary Drinking Water Regulations:

• Inorganic Chemicals, such as:  Copper, Lead, and Nitrate-Nitrogen
• Organic Chemicals, such as: Benzene, Toluene, Ethylene, Xylene
• Microorganisms, such as:  Total Coliforms and Fecal Coliform Bacteria
